I'm extremely honored and excited to be reading at the book launch for Hala Alyan's latest collection, HIJRA.

Hala is a Palestinian American poet and clinical psychologist whose work has appeared in numerous journals including Guernica, The Missouri Review, and Prairie Schooner. She is also the author of ATRIUM (Three Rooms Press), which was awarded the 2013 Arab American Book Award, and FOUR CITIES, released by Black Lawrence Press.  Interview
