A little bit about my fellow readers:
Jee Leong Koh’s book of poems Steep Tea (Carcanet) was named a Best Book of the Year by UK’s Financial Times. He is the author of three other books of poem and a book of zuihitsu. His work has been translated into Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Russian and Latvian. Born and raised in Singapore, Jee lives in New York City, where he organizes the biennial Singapore Literature Festival.
Deborah Emmanuel is a Singaporean writer, performer and four-time TEDx speaker. As a slam poet, she has won competitions in Singapore, Germany and Australia. Her work has seen places like Melbourne, Berlin, London, Bali and Kathmand, and e has toured alongsid eopl ik nthony Anaxagoro nd Sarah Ka. ebora has written When I Giggle In My Sleep (2015) and Rebel Rites (2016). When not writing or performing poetry, she also perform as an acto on stage and scree an makes music with her bands Wobology and The Ditha Projec.
